I'm waiting, waiting, waiting. I put an offer on the condo this morning.. and basically feel like I could break out in hives at any given moment! Huge step. Like HUGE. Let's just hope they accept the offer :)

  1. Hey...Did you get the condo??

In response to your comment on my blog...as if you need any help...I use a little ole' Nikon D5000. However, I usually use a 50 mm 1.8 prime lens. You can open up that aperture wide and use existing light. I really try and shoot when indirect sun is shining in the windows. That really helps with the overall clarity. I usually avoid flash...just because I don't like the way it looks on kids. That's it. I don't really have any other tricks. I usually don't even have to sharpen in photoshop. If you don't have that lens...I'd say go get it. It's cheap and I rarely use anything else (on my kids that is!!)
What camera do you use. I think your pictures are gorgeous!

  2. p.s. My sister in law grew up and lived in High point until she married my brother!! Her whole family is still there!

  3. Thanks for the tips! I am using a little Nikon p90- just started out taking pictures. I'm noticing though, that the overall clarity and sharpness of my photos is just not there. I know I need to upgrade- but can't really decide which camera would be best for what i'm trying to do.

What a small blog world it is- High Point isn't a huge city by any means, so it's cool that she's from here!

Oh- and I'm STILL waiting for negotiations on the condo to square away. I'm hoping that today will be the day I get an "accepted offer!"
