The rain came.
I grew up in Virginia Beach where hurricane season was just as ordinary as football season. There was something to be said about the excitement of it all.. school closings, taping up the windows, moving all valuables to the second floor. We would go to the boardwalk before it got really bad and you could literally lean against the wind. This video is from Portsmouth, right near VB. I'm am lucky to say, we never had to experience this kind of damage.
